Asher starts Elemental diet

Liz has spent months fighting with insurance, and finally they've agreed to cover it, though only for a few months worth. So today Asher finally is starting his new elemental diet with Elecare. No food, just the Elecare elemental formula. We'll actually transition for a couple of weeks and taper down off of real food until it's only Elecare (Dum-Dum lollipops, and Smarties are also allowed). In 10 weeks we'll go back up to Cincinnati for another endoscopy to see if there are any signs of the Eosinophilic Esophagitis. If not then we'll start adding food back in to his diet, one every couple of weeks, then scope again to determine if the food we added was safe. We'll continue this until we have a good list of what is and what is not safe for Asher to eat.
